Helen's shoulder had finally started feeling better after having been dislocated by the sharktopus and she really felt like she could throw herself back into work. The good thing about all her vet assistants were that they were impossibly helpful and Helen knew she could depend upon them to pick up her slack when she fell behind.

Sam was definitely among those but there were few patients at the moment and things were quiet; it provided the perfect opportunity to instruct on more delicate and academic things so she pulled down a book on tropical infectious disease to research a few things before presenting them to Sam.

"Sam? Do you have a moment? I thought we could try to get some studying in while there's no disasters at hand."
