State of the Pups: December 2011

State of Me: Holy crap was this a bad month. I'm super extremely stressed, was sick for a week...asplodey. Made reqs by the skin of my teeth. That, plus the move to DW, means I'm going to push Chloe off until late January/February



Jack O'Neill (has_2ls): Jack was kind of quiet this month but he's starting to get really excited about the new baby and is going to start (tentatively) making things for him or her. They're having a girl, not that Jack knows that, and he's going to dote ALL OVER HER when she gets here in May.

He's mostly just happy being a happy-go-lucky dad and I've really been digging his interactions with the other island parents.

Jacob Black (quileutejacob): Jacob has a lot of plotty threads Manda and I haven't dropped to the comm yet so while on paper his activity looks low, I've actually been playing him a good bit. I'm really liking the kind of quiet, character driven plots that he ends up with and I'm pleased with his direction. Expect some emo soonish when Belle and Bella move out.

Princess Zelda (hylianqueen): Zelda stumbled into plot! She's working on her psych thesis/project right now and she's working with Will Zimmerman (though Callie and I don't really thread them, we just talk about it) and since John Druitt showed up, she's mildly intrigued in the makings of his crazy and how being on the island without his special abilities affects him.

Yeah. Stupid, Zelda. You're pretty and teensy and blonde, not exactly what Jack the Ripper needs when he's off the sauce. I presume she's asked Alistair for loan of Duncan on occasion when she's walking around? She's intrigued but she's not STUPID. Actually, they should fight about this. I shall ponder.

Dr. Helen Magnus Zimmerman (notsocommon):

OH MY GOD. JOHN DRUITT IS ON THE ISLAND AND HE MAKES MAGNUS HAVE CREYS AND FEELS AND IT'S JUST AWKWARD AND DELICIOUS AND I LOVE IT. I could seriously write a whole SOTP about how Brad owns my soul and Druitt is amazing and ashskjfsfjkgh but I digress. Magnus's headspace is so fucked up right now, it's wonderful.

Upcoming:

- marrying Steve and Danny
- more girl time with Kate
- more husband snuggles with Will
- making up with Nikola? Perhaps a thread with Alcuin to decide how best to attack this?
- more threads with John for hot/wrong/awkward/angst/creys. Yes, that's a sentence.

Gwen was quiet this month but she's really digging Nick Gautier, so I want her to Get On That. I'm also thinking about giving her an item soon, the Resurrection Gauntlet, so that will continue to make her emo and hate the island. Typical Tuesday.

Jon kissed a boy and he liked it. Jon is in the midst of having sex with a boy and he likes it. He and Lionel continue to...be something but Jon doesn't really use labels? He's the boyfriend, from Jon's perspective, but like I said, Jon doesn't do labels. I've tagged into Peter's post but IDK where that thread's gonna go just yet.

Mostly just coasting for this month but I'm okay with that. He and Kate had some good relationship threads and came to the mutual agreement that they do NOT want kids, so, I guess that's good? He really needs something to fucking DO on the island besides Kate and I'm trying but he just...doesn't care. He's all, got my girl, got my beer, good to go. Hmmph.
