Turning around with a broad grin for the brunette (Kate, if Sookie's careful ears serve her right), Sookie shakes her head, cheeks blooming in a blush. "Oh, no, I'm not half as happy as they are, I promise you— I mean, I'm glad, but... you know those two, this has got to be the day of their lives. I'm just twice as obnoxious when it comes to showing how excited I am for them," Sookie argues with a soft sigh, glancing over at the happy couple with a content expression, wondering if the two might just steal off at some point in the evening and leave the rest of them blinking in the wake of it all. "Also, officiating? Totally an honor. It's not like they really needed a Council member to do it, anyway, but they're both so sweet and great friends, so I guess they figured, why not. I'm the one lucking out, though. We all are."

Her eyes narrow with a sly look. "I mean, it's not every day you get to see something like that. Almost makes me think we need a dentist on the island."
